Dr. Sabina Hermida is an up and coming Postdoctoral researcher currently integrating the group of Prof. Rob Ameloot at KU Leuven. She holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Vigo, had a Postdoctoral stay at the University of Versailles and held a Postdoctoral position from 2014 to 2016 in the group of Prof. Daniel Maspoch.
Her research interests lie in the field coordination polymers, e.g. MOFs. She has been actively engaged in the development of new strategies for the control of structure/property relationships for MOFs as well as actively pursuing her passion for single crystal crystallography. She has successfully co-authored and submitted 1 patent on Post-synth modification of MOFs and is responsible for the resolution of 150 single crystal structures.
